He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Burke and Irene Burke of Waltham; and his brother Michael Burke of Waltham. He is survived by: his wife Sara Burke of Sudbury; his children, Jim (Marie Burke), Cheryle (John Gallagher), David (Anne Burke), Greg (Joanne Burke), Kristin (Bud Noel) and Jenn (Brendan Glass); and his siblings, William Burke of Marlborough, Beverly Wright, Dave Wright of Billerica, John and Judith Burke of Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory can be given to Veterans Inc., a nonprofit organization that supports veterans and their families.
