He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Kimball and Karen L. Kimball (Burns); his daughter Karen L. Kimball; his sister Kimberly E. Kimball; and his grandson Liam Meadows.

He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Jo Kimball, Stephanie Aucoin (Nicholas Aucoin) and Kristin Kimball; his sister Sharon Kimball of Waltham, MA; his sibling's children, Joshua Coye and Courtney Coye; and his great-aunt MaryCarol Regan of Waltham, MA..

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in John's Loving Memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
