With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn White (Waltham, Massachusetts), born in Sandwich, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2026 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her husband Frederic White; her parents, Frank and Ruth; her siblings, Frank Remick and Patricia Peterson (Remick); her close friend Barbara Mandra; and her son John Sorensen.
She is survived by: her children, Jill Hogan (Bob) of Auburndale, Sandra Cloonan (Robert) of Auburndale, Scott Sorensen (Sue) of Hubbardston, Susanne Dezotell (Billy) of Framingham, George Sorensen (Alla) of Naples, Florida and James Sorensen of Hyannis; her grandchildren, John Hogan, Jenna Hogan of Auburndale, Caroline Cloonan of Washington, D. C., Kyle Sorensen of Hubbardston, Samantha Sorensen of Mashpee and Jim Sorensen of Hyannis; her great grandchild Audrea Finch of Mashpee; her brother Stephen Remick of Virginia; her brother-in-law George Peterson of Hyde Park; and her pet Ellie. She is also survived by her many, many friends.
