He is survived by: his father Vincenzo Sammartano; his sisters, Annamaria DeJulio (Michael) of Waltham, Gina Farrar (David) of Watertown and Lisa Dallaire (Michael) of Waltham; his nieces and nephews, Anthony DeJulio, Michael, Shayla DeJulio, Arianna, Sean Logue, Marc DeJulio, David Farrar, Joseph, Olivia Farrar, Daniel Farrar, Luc and Nicolas Dallaire; and his great-niece Lyla.
