He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Monahan and Frances Monahan. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl M. Monahan (Duprez) of Mary's Church; his son Matthew Monahan (Leah) of Woburn; his granddaughters, Julia and Gianna; and his siblings, Michael Monahan (Jane) of Santa Rosa, California, Kathleen Mercer of Idaho and Mary Padilla of Concord, California. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A wake will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Afflicted Church (880 Trapelo Rd, Waltham, MA 02452).
