He was predeceased by : his father Thomas D. Johnston, IV; and his father-in-law Richard J. Robbins. He is survived by : his mother Nancy Johnston (Brown) of Poinciana; his wife Cheryl A. Johnston (Robbins); his children, Stephanie Johnston of Queens, Michael Johnston of Marlborough and Amy McCuen (Shane McCuen) of Auburn; his siblings, Dr. Tom Johnston V (Ann) of Wisconsin, David Johnston (Jeanne) of Florida, Sue Johnston of Poinciana and Kate Johnston-Legg (Jeff) of Wilmette, Illinois; his mother-in-law Muriel Coutu Robbins Gilmartin of Greenfield; his brother-in-law Chuck Robbins (Lisa) of Greenfield; his nieces and nephews, Sarah Robbins Canepari, Mary Johnston, Kendall Johnston-Legg, Lucy Johnston, Dr. Thomas Johnston VI, Christopher Robbins, Andrew Johnston and Philip Johnston; and his pets, Koda, Joy and Crumby.
