Richard C. Saulnier Sr. Obituary

In loving memory of Richard C. Saulnier Sr. of Waltham, Massachusetts, who departed this world on December 6, 2025 at the age of 90. Richard leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Cole Chaprales; and his siblings, Theresa Palmer, Harold Saulnier, Donald Saulnier, Hazel Grimes, Robert Saulnier and Mary Gardiner.

He is survived by: his wife Jane P. Saulnier (Morris); his children, Irene M. Henderson (Mark) of Onset, Audrey J. Chaprales (James) of Waltham and Richard C.'Rick'Saulnier Jr. (Kathleen Fontes) of Waltham; his grandchildren, Kyle Henderson (Emily), Wade Henderson, Molly Henderson (Sam Gnazzo), Chase Chaprales and Avery Chaprales; his great grandchild Sophie Henderson; and his sister Doris Young of Waltham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A wake will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (250 High St, Waltham, MA 02453). A reception will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Joyce Funeral Home (245 Main St, Waltham, MA 02453).
