He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Assunta Giardina (Zagami). He is survived by: his wife Franca; his pets, Bean and Bella; his son Waltham Firefighter Matthew Giardina; his daughter-in-law Jennie Giardina (Clark) of Waltham; his grandson Anthony; his sister Susan Rizzo; and his siblings-in-law, Giovanni, Antonio Zazzera and Maria Giacometti. He is also survived by several nieces and numerous friends.
