She was predeceased by: her parents, George William Hankins and Vivian Waddington Hankins of Warren, Pennsylvania.; her daughter Rachel Karen Kornbau of Stratford; her former husband Dr. Harrison "Harry" Charles Kornbau of Stratford; and her husband William P. "Bill" Mitchell of Somerdale.
She is survived by: her children, David Kornbau (Karen) of Framingham, Massachusetts and Elaine K. Howley (Mark) of Waltham, Massachusetts; her grandsons, Jack Kornbau, Adam Kornbau and Evan Kornbau; and her brother Dr. George Abner Hankins (Carla) of Walworth.
