She was predeceased by : her husband Edward F. Plimpton, Sr.; her sisters, Dorothy Clemence and Claire Fortier; and her parents, Edward E. Douty and Mary Douty (Callahan).

She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Carrier (John) of West Brookfield, Deborah L. Mockus of Hull, GA and Edward Fred Plimpton, Jr. (Nancy) of Sturbridge; her brother Edward E. Douty, Jr. (Suzanne) of Sturbridge; her grandson Mikal Carrier (CarrieAnn) of Sturbridge; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Victoria and Holly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be held on Friday, Sept. 9th, from 8:30 to 9:30am, prior to the Mass.

Margaret was an animal lover and in lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Second Chance Animal Shelter, 11Young Rd., East Brookfield, MA 01515.
