He was predeceased by: his sons-in-law, Michael Howe and Paul Gunther; his grandson Benjamin St. George (Bebe St); his siblings, Raymond and Alice Sloat; and his parents, Nap St and Madeline St (McMahon).
He is survived by: his children, Lynne of Ware, Cheryl Howe of Gilbertville, Mary Beth Gunther of Ware, Richard Jr. (Maureen) of West Warren, Roy (Cindy) of Hardwick and Kevin (Lynn) of Kline Township, PA.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Charbonneau Funeral Home (30 Pleasant St, Ware, MA 01082). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St. Aloysius Church (64 Church St, Gilbertville, MA 01031). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Saint William Cemetery West Main.
