Beverly A. Lopes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly A. Lopes of Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Beverly departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Beverly may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Beverly leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Graca and Aurora Graca (Santos). She is survived by: her husband Faustino "Fausty" A. Lopes, Jr.; her children, Raquel Lopes Mullaney (Robert) of Middleboro, Derek Lopes (Cindy) of Wareham and Sonya Lopes of Wareham; and her sister Bernice "Bunny" Veiga of West Wareham. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Wareham (2599 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham, MA 02571). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Chapman Family Funeral Homes-Wareham (2599 Cranberry Hwy, Wareham, MA 02571). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (94 High St, Wareham, MA 02571).
