She was predeceased by: her husband Norman E. Elgar, Sr.; her parents, Arthur White and Mildred White (Palmer); her sons, Arthur Elgar and Norman Elgar, Jr.; her brother John White; her son-in-law Robert Woodis; and her grandson-in-law John Leary.
She is survived by: her children, Helen Duffy (Rick) of Plymouth, Dorothy Woodis of New Bedford, Shirley Elgar of Wareham, Paul Elgar of Wareham and Sally Holland of Mashpee; her daughter-in-law Paula McCarthy of Buzzards Bay; and her sisters, Nancy Cornell, Mildred Young of New Bedford and Sue Worth. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
