He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Thompson (Skalecki) and Lt. Colonel William Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Linda A. Thompson; his daughter Lisa Romano; his grandsons, Joseph A. Romano, III and Anthony E. Romano of Malden; and his siblings, Dianne Rabidou (Dennis) of Cherry Valley, MA., Paul Thompson (Sandy) of South Carolina, Stephen Thompson (Gail) of Medway, MA and Michael Thompson of San Diego, CA.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
