He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McDonald and Ruth E. McDonald, Sr. (Griffin) of Onset, MA.; and his sister Patricia Cowgill of Anacortes, WA.. He is survived by: his wife Lynn P. McDonald of Wareham; his children, Cheryl A. Salemme (Frank V. Salemme) of Dania, FL, Michael J. McDonald (Debbie Mission) of Middleboro, MA and David J. McDonald of Wareham; his grandson Michael A. Painter (Tina M. Painter) of Wareham; and his siblings, Nancy G. Hanaford of Westford, MA and Donald Brian McDonald (Kathryn H. McDonald) of Buzzards Bay, MA.. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
