It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mitchell of Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Edith Winifred Mitchell (Wilson). He is survived by: his close friend Madeleine Bristow of Wareham; his son William Jeffrey Mitchell (Lori); and his granddaughter Myka Snow Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Vine Hills Cemetery (102 Samoset St, Plymouth, MA 02360).
