He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander "Pinto" Silva and Julia Silva (Pina); and his siblings, Casmiro "Casey" Silva, Avelino "Lovie" Silva, Rita DeBurgo, Frances Leighton, Antone "Tony" Silva, John Silva and Robert Silva.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sonia Silva of Wareham and Stacey Silva of Wareham; his grandsons, Alexander Silva (Mari) and John Brand, IV; and his great grandchild Catalya Solmarie Silva. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
