It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert C. Newell of Wareham, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Newell and Edna Newell (Johnson); and his siblings, Janice E. Dawson and Carl O. Newell. He is survived by: his wife Martha (Ellis); his children, Glenn R. Newell (Rebecca) of Rochester, Suzanne E. Szyndlar (Brian) of Rochester and Richard C. Newell (Angela) of Westport; and his grandchildren, Brittany Lamont (Jerry), Brandon Newell, Kevin Newell, Traci Hassink (Stephen), Keith Szyndlar, Colton Newell and Tyler Newell. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; two nieces; and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home & Cremation (129 Allen St, New Bedford, MA 02740). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
