He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Nickerson and Jenny Nickerson (Griggs); and his siblings, Shirley Staples and David Nickerson. He is survived by : his wife Claire A. Nickerson (Wirf) of Warren; his children, Deborah Tonelli (Norman) of Westerly, Timothy Nickerson of Warren and Jeff Nickerson (Sharon) of North Brookfield; his grandchildren, Melissa Vadnais, Allyson Manganello, Tyler Nickerson and Conor Nickerson; and his great grandchildren, Timothy, Rachel and Julian Letourneau.
After retirement, Nick continued to work for his brother Dave and his son's business, CBIS in West Brookfield, as a special projects Manager until Covid when he worked from home.
