He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Samaan Rafeq and Zahia Rafeq; his children, Dr. Samaan, Dr. Zahi, Zahia and Dr. Samir; his children-in-law, Lara and Rachel; and his grandchildren, Elias Nicholas, Sophia Mary, Marcus Karim and Jude Lucas. He was also cherished by his family and friends.
