In the sacred silence of farewell, Canella is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Canella's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Spiros Gazetos and Stavroula Gazetos (Konstantaki). She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Colivas (Georgia) and Spiro Colivas; her grandchildren, Michael and Paulina Colivas; and her brother Thanasi Gazetos (Tena). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Taxiarchae Greek Orthodox Church (25 Bigelow Ave, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Ridgelawn Cemetery (183 Highland Ave, Watertown, MA 02472).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the above named church.
