He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary T. Lyons (Connolly); his children, James J. (Shelia) of Watertown, Andrea J Lawson (James P.) of Billerica and Barry E. (Christine N.) of Northborough; his grandchildren, Kaleigh, James, Michael Lawson, Nicholas, Joseph and Thomas Lyons; and his siblings, Muriel "Honey" Hayes of Needham, Thomas R. Lyons of Hampton, NH. and Donna M. Lyons of Hampton, NH.. He was also cherished by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home (270 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 9:00 AM at the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home (270 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Saint Patrick (212 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472).
