He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton E. Strayhorn and Lorna M. Strayhorn (Smith). He is survived by: his brothers, William F. Strayhorn (Linda J.) of Framingham and Richard C. Strayhorn (Linda M.) of Watertown; his niece Paula Nicole Carito; his nephews, Richard C. Strayhorn, Jr., Michael Gardner, Jr. and Gregory Gardner; and his great-niece Melody Strayhorn.
