He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton E. Strayhorn and Lorna M. Strayhorn (Smith). He is survived by: his brothers, William F. Strayhorn (Linda J.) of Framingham and Richard C. Strayhorn (Linda M.) of Watertown; his siblings' children, Paula Nicole Carito, Richard C. Strayhorn, Jr., Michael Gardner, Jr. and Gregory Gardner; and his great-niece Melody Strayhorn.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the MacDonald Rockwell MacDonald Funeral Home (270 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472).
