He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Stavropoulos, Konstantina Kolovou and Michael Stavropoulos. He is survived by: his wife Panagiota (Korini); his children, Peter Stavropoulos, Georgia Stavropoulos and Mary Gharios (Gerard); his siblings, Fotis Stavropoulos (Katerina) of Greece and Mary Groussis of Newton; and his sister-in-law Vasiliki Stavropoulos of Weston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
