He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Laura Gately (Young); his children, Sean and Erin Gately; his parents, Esther (Meehan) and John'Jack'Gately; his siblings, Ellen Duguay, John Schwalm (Dottie), Linda Schwalm, Esther Schwalm, Billy Schwalm (Eileen 'Beannie'), Lillian Duest (Paul), Donna Benites (Pedro) and Richard Schwalm; his parent-in-law Claire Young (late Stephen); and his brother-in-law James Young.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nardone Funeral Home (373 Main St, Watertown, MA 02472). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
