William R. Leighton Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 20, 2025, at the age of 69, William R. Leighton of Watertown, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though William may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Leighton and Gladys P. Leighton. He is survived by: his sons, William and Christoper; and his sisters, Suzanne Anderson, Linda Mahoney (Martin) and Debra Tirrell (Ron). He is also survived by four nephews and three nieces.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Bourne National Cemetery.
