Barbara Brennan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Brennan of Wayland, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Spaulding and Mary Eleanor Spaulding (Mooney); her husband Edward F. Brennan; her sisters, Marcia Shea, Eleanor Murphy and Elizabeth Shea; and her in-laws, Thomas, Sheila Dyer, Richard Brennan and John Brennan.
She is survived by: her children, Attorney Edward Brennan Jr. (Ned) of Maynard and Sarah Phillips (Richard) of Wellesley; and her grandchildren, Margaret and Henry Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Bridget Parish (830 Worcester Rd, Framingham, MA 01702). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at the St. Patrick Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Community Care in Newton or to Miriam Boyd Parlin Hospice Residence in Wayland.
