Josephine A. Rao Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Josephine A. Rao of Wayland, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 6, 2025 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Josephine A. Rao to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Giuseppe and Teresa; and her sisters, Colomba, Vera and Genevieve (Vincent).
She is survived by: her husband Vincent; her children, Janet Cappetta (Steven), JoAnn Chambers (David), Susan Rao and James Rao (Doreen); and her grandchildren, David Chambers, Emily Cooperman (Brian), Matthew Cappetta, Nicholas Chambers (Jorrie), Emma Rao and Alex Rao. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Afflicted Parish (880 Trapelo Rd, Waltham, MA 02452). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
