He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth (Shea); his parents, Edward J. Gilmartin and Vera M. Gilmartin (Stetson); and his sister Marilyn G. Halleck (late William L. Halleck). He is survived by: his children, Brenda Gilmartin of Portland, ME, Melissa (Gilmartin), Patrick (Douglas Patrick) of Freeport, ME, Sheila Gilmartin of Wayland, MA and Thomas Gilmartin (Isadora Forman) of North Yarmouth, ME.; Elizabeth.
