He was predeceased by: his wife Rita L. Ekey (Bomba); his siblings, Barbara Halpin, Donald and Richard Ekey; and his parents, Joseph P. Ekey and Irma Ekey (Habeney).
He is survived by: his sons, Timothy J. Ekey (Lindsay A. Ekey) of North Yarmouth, ME and Jonathan M. Ekey; his grandchildren, Henry Parker Ekey and Cameron Jeffrey Ekey; and his siblings-in-law, Rev. Paul M. Bomba, Saint Joseph Church, David J. Bomba of Grafton, Joseph M. Bomba (Debra) of Windham, ME, John P. Bomba (Victoria) of Boylston and Emily M. Bomba of Webster. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Basilica (53 Whitcomb St, Webster, MA 01570).
