He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Ann Butler (Ryan); and his siblings, Neil Butler, James Brian Butler and Melora Dauksz. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Delpapa-Butler (Volonino); his children, Holly A. Zagwyn of Winchendon, MA, Jina Thomas of Townsend, MA, Jon A. Butler (Lisa) of Nashua and Joseph Delpapa, Jr. (Kristen Austin) of Brookline; his grandchildren, Joshua Zagwyn of Winchendon, Sheila Zagwyn of Winchendon, Jacob Zagwyn (Bryanna Hache) of Ashburnham, MA, Domenic Delpapa of Lyndeborough, Nicholas Delpapa of Brookline and Britany Thomas of Townsend, MA; and his pet Roxy. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home (340 School St, Webster, MA 01570). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
