He was predeceased by: his parents, James P. George and Cecelia George (Geotis); and his sister Patricia Chakalis. He is survived by: his children, James P. George of Hemingway, SC. and Kara E. George of Hemingway, SC.; and his sisters, Martha Sugalski of Florida, Evangaline Wilson of Mass and Lorriane George of Ct. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
