He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine B. Kokernak (Savageau); his siblings, Morris Ashley, Walter Kokernak, Alice Grzelecki and Eleanor Gadoury; and his parents, Stephen Kokernak and Bertha Kokernak (Fuchs).
He is survived by: his children, Gary R. Kokernak (Christine) of Dudley and Kim B. Fafard of Webster; his grandchildren, Ian M. Fafard (Nicole) of Oxford, Tyler G. Kokernak (Moria) of Sturbridge and Drew R. Kokernak of Dudley; and his great grandchild Nathan M. Fafard. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
