She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jan Wierbik; her children, Teresa Kopec (Marek) of Leicester and Adam Wierbik (Marzena) of Dudley; her grandchildren, Alexander, Angelica Kopec, Felix and Emma Wierbik; and her parents, Feliks Sprengel and Teresa Sprengel.

She served as a vice president of the Polish Foundation in order to help keep Polish traditions alive in the community.
