Barbara M. Sturgis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Barbara M. Sturgis of Wellesley, Massachusetts. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Barbara is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Barbara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter H. Sturgis and Genevieve Sturgis (Shaw). She is survived by: her cousins, Nancy Shaw of Weymouth, MA, John Shaw of Signal Mountain, TN, Mary Gregory of Holliston, MA, Christopher "Kip" Gregory of Washington, D. C and Maura Boucher of North Andover, MA. She is also survived by many other cousins and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Church (9 Glen Rd, Wellesley, MA 02481). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hull Village Cemetery.
