He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund David and Eva Sanford (DeMille). He is survived by: his wife Anne Sanford (Gavin); his children, Lisa Grogan (Robert) of Plymouth, Karen Rich (Tim) of New Hampshire, David Sanford (Eileen) of New Hampshire and Patrick Sanford (Stephanie) of Bellingham; his grandchildren, Cailla, Caoimhe, Siobhan, Shannon, Aoife, James, Eva, Gavin, Fiona and River; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Vivien; and his sisters, Eva Kranz (Hugo) of Connecticut and Sandra Sanford of Connecticut.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service - Manomet (619 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Bonaventure's Church (803 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
