She was predeceased by: her father John Edwin; her husband John G. Schuler; and her sons, Dana and Matthew. She is survived by: her sons, Ed (Jody) of Columbia, SC and Peter (Sue) of Westwood, MA; her daughter-in-law Meredith of Harrisburg, PA; and her daughter Phyllis (Les) of Brighton, MA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
