He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margery Sabin; his sons, Michael Sabin and Paul Sabin; his daughters-in-law, Deborah Sabin and Emily Bazelon; his grandchildren, Zachary Sabin (Eliza Baird-Daniel), Matthew Sabin, Elena Sabin, Eli Sabin and Simon Bazelon; and his parents, Oliver Sabin and Vivian Sabin (Shenkin).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Hebrew College (1860 Washington St, Auburndale, MA 02466).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's honor may be made to the Appalachian Mountain Club (http://www.outdoors.org.) or to the James E. Sabin Fund for Bioethical Leadership in Healthcare at the Hastings Center (https://www.thehastingscenter.org.), indicating that the donation is in memory of James E. Sabin.
