It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Hughes of Wellesley, Massachusetts, born in Newton, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Helen Hughes (Cline); his parents, Patrick Hughes and Sarah Hughes (Noone); and his siblings, Joseph E., Robert P., John J., Edmund C., Francis M. and David P. Hughes.

He is survived by : his sisters, Rosemary Hall of Natick, MA. and Sarah Poisson.
