“I'm so sorry for your loss. How you must miss Stephanie. She was certainly a source of light.”

“The body is one and has many members, but all the members, many though they are, are one body; and so it is with Christ. It was in one Spirit that all of us, whether Jew or Greek, slave or free, were baptized into one body. All of us have been given to drink of the one Spirit. Now the body is not one member, it is many. If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand I do not belong to the body," would it then no longer belong to the body? (1 Cor 12:12-15)”

“If the ear should say, "Because I am not an eye I do not belong to the body," would it then no longer belong to the body? If the body were all eye, what would happen to our hearing? If it were all ear, what would happen to our smelling? As it is, God has set each member of the body in the place he wanted it to be. If all the members were alike, where would the body be? There are, indeed, many different members, but one body. (1 Cor 12:16-20)”

“The eye cannot say to the hand, "I do not need you," any more than the head can say to the feet, "I do not need you." Even those members of the body which seem less important are in fact indispensable. (1 Cor 12:21-22)”

“We honor the members we consider less honorable by clothing them with greater care, thus bestowing on the less presentable a propriety which the more presentable already have. God has so constructed the body as to give greater honor to the lowly members, that there may be no dissension in the body, but that all the members may be concerned for one another. If one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is honored, all the members share its joy. (1 Cor 12:23-26)”

Anne Theriault wrote a sympathy message

“Compassionate, approachable, dignified, Stephanie took it all on herself, not wanting anyone to suffer with her. How she needed someone to care. Her true place is with Our Blessed Mother. Venerable Bruno Lanteri, a devotee of Mary's, and many convents were praying for Stephanie. You can still pray for her, as she may be in Purgatory, unable to pray for herself. Best -- have Masses said for her in a Catholic Church. Nothing would help her more. I promise!”

Anne Theriault wrote a sympathy message

“I will miss the possibility of Stephanie's friendly, tall personage when passing by. . . She was a real presence and I'm certain was doing God's will. Stephanie was friendly to all -- not foe. All could relax around her. She thought of the other person when speaking to him. Friendship is so difficult in our current age where people keep to their "groups" (including marriages). She suffered for Jesus and wanted a better life but never complained.”

Anne Theriault wrote a sympathy message

“In this de-personalized and unpersonalizing world, Stephanie stood out. She was personal (though respectful) with EVERYONE. Christ likes that.”

Anne Theriault wrote a sympathy message

“Stephanie is a kind, compassionate, and dignified daughter of God. She portrays much dignity. Always sociable to everyone, she does not respect class politics. She will be found in the Kingdom. She wants us to give to St. Joseph's Indian School, which does not receive regular, ongoing federal or corporate support. It helps Native American children connect within their culture by learning the Lakota language, studying Native American heritage, & healing the effects of generations of POVERTY.”
