He is survived by: his children, Jackie "Jane" Norton (Chip) of Dover, Deborah Brown (Bill) of North Falmouth, Betsy Ferreira (Leonard) of Middleton, Paula Mulherin (Ed) of Scituate, Amy Loughran (Paul) of Morrisville, VT, William Dempsey Jr. (Tricia) of Smithfield, VA, Terence Dempsey (Laura), Grampy and Gramps; and his uncles, Bill, Billy and Demps. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
