In loving memory of Gertrude B. O'Coin of West Brookfield, Massachusetts, who departed this world on February 28, 2025 at the age of 97. Gertrude leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Roland L. O'Coin; her siblings, Francis "Gilbert" Messier, Dolores Richards and Yvonne Valley; and her parents, Francoise X. Messier and Alberta Messier (Bouley).

She is survived by: her children, Paul R. O'Coin (Kathleen) of Millbury, Elaine M. Courtemanche (Barry) of West Brookfield, Jeanine A. Morgan (Donald) of Little River, SC, Joanne F. Frederick (Lot) of Sturbridge, Francis L. O'Coin (Chanel) of Brooklyn, CT and Amy L. Gilman (Martin) of Southport, NC. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerty's memory may be made to the Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center Activities Fund, 47 East Main Street, West Brookfield, MA 01585.
