She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Owen Smith (Bailey); her granddaughter Mia of West Brookfield; her daughter Lillian Orozco of Worcester; her siblings, Lynn Avedian of Leicester, Anthony Avedian (Shannon) of Auburn and Meaghan Runyon (Matthew) of Spencer; and her parents, Susan Cote and Robert Cote. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, the National Kidney Foundation, or Second Chance Animal Rescue.
