She was predeceased by: her parent Georgie McPhee Curtis; her spouse Merle Walton Hissem; her daughter Debra LaPensee; and her siblings, Lila, Marcy, Joy, Joan, Larry and David.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley, David (Deb), Catherine (Robert) and William; her son-in-law Earl LaPensee; her niece Kimberly Pronto-Chisholm; her grandchildren, Angela, Heather, Ashley (Joseph), Michael (Emily) and John (Joleigh); and her great grandchildren, Snake, William, Charlie and Thomas.
