It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Packish of West Falmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Amaral and George F. Packish; his wife Janet Steere Packish; and his siblings, Robert F. Packish "Bobby" of Falmouth, Richard F. Packish "Dickey" of Martha's Vineyard, Clement J. Packish "Clemmy" of Martha's Vineyard, Theresa M. Baptiste of Martha's Vineyard, Grace A. Rogers of Falmouth, Elizabeth A. Blanchard "Betty" of Falmouth, Marjorie M. Denningham "Margie" of Falmouth and Bernice Packish of Martha's Vineyard.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mardell Francis of Vineyard Haven and Emily Frank of Edgartown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Chapman Funerals and Cremations - Falmouth (475 Main St, Falmouth, MA 02540). A Mass was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Church - Falmouth (511 Main St, Falmouth, MA 02540).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Towers or another charity of your choice.
