It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allowyn Johns of West Roxbury, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 9, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Schultz and Ruth Schultz; her husband Edward "Johnsie" Johns; and her siblings, Lt Herbert Schultz, Walter Schultz (Wally), Virginia McColgan (Ginny) and Marion Schultz (Manny).

She is survived by: her children, Karen Liljegren (Mark) of Walpole, Mary Appleyard, Robert of Norwood, Edward Johns (Dawn) of Marblehead and Susan MacGregor (Robert) of West Roxbury; her grandchildren, Kerri Labrie (Michael) of Norwood, Matthew Liljegren (Kate) of Brooklyn, NY., Grace, Mae Appleyard of Norwood, Edward, Sophia Johns of Marblehead, Ginny and Jack MacGregor of West Roxbury; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Mikey and Skye. She is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

A wake will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home (1803 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John Chrysostom Church (4750 Washington St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
