He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Gordon Tabenken; and his parents, Morris Tabenken and Bess Berkowitz Tabenken. He is survived by: his significant other Joni Herson of Delray Beach; his children, Marcia Tabenken (Jeff Kolodney) of Newton and David Tabenken (Luis Williams) of Boston; and his grandsons, Jacob Kolodney and Alex Kolodney.
