He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard McFarland and Sarah McFarland (Duffy) of County Monaghan, Ireland.. He is survived by: his wife Eileen McFarland (Rice); and his children, Bernard, Joy, Peter, Paul and John. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
