John F. Davenport Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, John F. Davenport (West Roxbury, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Davenport and Elizabeth Davenport; his significant other Kay Murphy (Catherine); and his siblings, Thomas, Bridget, Catherine, Austin, Maryann and Michael.
He is survived by: his children, Jim, Elizabeth, John and Karen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William J. Gormley Funeral Home (2055 Centre St, West Roxbury, MA 02132). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at http://www.alz.org.
