Fern (Kearns); his parents, Caroline "Carol" Fern (Lippert) and Edward Fern; his siblings, Laura Higginson (Brian) and Joe Fern (Anna Redwine); his sisters-in-law, Regina Beaudry (Wayne), Louise Cataldo (Chris) of Walpole and Theresa Leonelli (late Paul) of Waltham; his aunt Lucille Lippert; and his siblings' children, Trevor Higginson, Kate Wisialko, Mary Fern, CeCe Fern, Gayle Cataldo, Meghan Beaudry and Paul Leonelli.
